Guilin steps up building an open industrial hub
China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations are committed to deepening cooperation in artificial intelligence and advancing common prosperity across the region, officials said.
Guilin in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has developed four national-level digital transformation benchmark projects, 12 autonomous region-level AI and real economy deep integration pilot demonstration projects, cultivated eight autonomous region-level intelligent manufacturing benchmark enterprises, 42 smart factories, and 37 digital workshops in recent years.
China is committed to supporting businesses from all countries to actively engage in the global division of labor within industrial and supply chains, and enhance complementarity between "Made in China" and "Made in ASEAN" on a broader scale, said the country's top industry regulator.
Senior science and technology officials from ASEAN nations expressed a strong commitment to boosting regional sci-tech innovation cooperation on Tuesday at the 13th Forum on China-ASEAN Technology Transfer and Collaborative Innovation in Nanning.
Hosted by the China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, the 6th CSIAM International Conference on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence kicked off in Guilin, co-organized by relevant academic committees and local universities.
