On Jan 23, the Tianhu Scenic Spot in Quanzhou county, Guilin, unveiled a spectacular cloud landscape after a flurry of snowfall.
Billowing clouds could be seen surging through valleys like waves, with snow-capped mountain ridges and winding mountain roads fading in and out of the mist – a grand winter scene evoking classic Chinese ink wash paintings.
Nestled at over 1,600 meters above sea level, the resort has unique alpine wetland landforms and climate, boasting distinct scenery year-round.
When the skies cleared after the snow they revealed ethereal drifts above the ice and snow, showcasing the unique grandeur of southern China's alpine areas. This natural marvel has drawn many photographers and tourists to witness the breathtaking sight.
