Hong Kong is one of Guilin's important tourist source markets. To address the surge in travel demand during holidays, the Guilin municipal culture, radio, television, and tourism bureau coordinated and supported tourism enterprises in organizing the special train, precisely aligning with Hong Kong's holiday schedule.
Upon the tourists' arrival, a special welcome ceremony was held at Guilin North Railway Station, where Lusheng performances and dragon dances created a lively atmosphere.

The itinerary also incorporated intangible cultural heritage experiences, with actresses dressed as Liu Sanjie boarding the train to interact with tourists and teach them folk songs, adding both fun and cultural depth to the journey. This initiative is part of Guilin's innovative "intangible cultural heritage on trains" series, aimed at bringing cultural heritage closer to the public.
The event represents a significant effort by Guilin to deepen tourism cooperation with the Greater Bay Area and boost inbound tourism. In the future, Guilin plans to continue optimizing its tourism products and services, strengthen promotion in key tourist markets, and further advance the high-quality development of its cultural and tourism industries.
