Yangshuo launched its 2025 "Teachers' Respect Month" celebration on Sept 8. This special occasion was attended by around 400 participants, including educators from diverse nations such as the United States, Mexico, Spain, and other countries.
The event marked the 41st anniversary of Teachers' Day, emphasizing the global recognition and appreciation of teachers' contributions to society.

Organized and sponsored by local authorities, the event is centered around the theme "The Most Beautiful County Honors Outstanding Educators". It is scheduled to take place throughout September.
The opening ceremony commenced with a solemn rendition of the national anthem, setting a tone of unity and pride. Sun Guoliang, a local government official, delivered warm greetings to the educators present, emphasizing their vital role in society.
He extended an invitation to teachers to immerse themselves in the scenic beauty of Yangshuo, encouraging them to explore the region's picturesque Lijiang River and other cultural landmarks as a rejuvenating retreat.
Other officials also took the stage to deliver speeches, officially inaugurating the series of events that constitute the month-long celebrations.
The highlights of the event encompassed a series of engaging video messages delivered by renowned educators, aimed at inspiring dedication and passion among attendees.
