The 2025 Guilin landscape music festival wowed over 20,000 fans at the city's sports center, blending classic hits with the region's iconic scenery in a six-hour musical feast.

Headliners including Tai Zhengxiao, Li Yijun, and Wulan Tuoya took the stage, performing beloved tracks while sharing their love for Guilin — from its "incredibly delicious" rice noodles to landmarks like the Lijiang River and Elephant Trunk Hill. Local band Qingxiao Bairi also shined, hailing the event as a "vital platform" for homegrown talent.

In addition to the music, the festival highlighted Guilin's global appeal, with volunteers from the US, Denmark, Pakistan, ensuring everything went smoothly. "Guilin's beauty and warmth made me want to contribute," said a Danish volunteer.

Cultural fusion extended to the food zone, where rice noodles, cold desserts, and local snacks kept crowds energized — part of the city's effort to blend music with culinary delights.

This event joins a string of cultural highlights in Guilin this year, from piano concerts to dance dramas, boosting tourism through performances and scenic exploration.

As the festival closed with cheers for more, it underscored Guilin's knack for turning events into unforgettable experiences that celebrate both art and nature.
