A major Guangxi night-themed gala was held in Guilin on July 4, co-hosted by the regional authorities for culture and tourism, commerce, sports, and the city government.

Running until July 6, the event takes place at two venues: Dongxi Alley and Guilin Sunac Resort. At Dongxi Alley, a cultural market features local specialties, including both traditional brands and intangible cultural heritage crafts. A special night-time script tour allows visitors to explore ancient lanes as "royal detectives", combining historical insights with engaging entertainment.
Folk performances such as bench dragon dances and local band shows contribute to the overall atmosphere. Sunac Resort hosts music festivals, nighttime activities at water and land parks, bonfire parties, dance events, food markets, and fireworks.
Centering on innovative scenarios and increasing consumption, the gala offers an immersive evening experience that combines landscape, culture, food, and entertainment, thereby stimulating the night economy.
