Guilin steps up building an open industrial hub
Guilin hosted the launch of Guangxi 2025 Digital Literacy Promotion Month on June 27, emphasizing AI popularization to promote inclusive digital sharing and support Guangxi's digital development.
Co-hosted by 14 authorities, including the Cyberspace Affairs Commission of Guangxi, the event featured 18 themed activities, 120 digital empowerment cases, and research reports on digital literacy.
Huang Yong, a senior official, described it as a people-centered initiative to advance digital technology adoption, close the digital divide, and improve AI literacy. Participants, such as officials and scholars, discussed practices like AI-enhanced government services and digital literacy programs.
Exhibitions focused on digital literacy and AI achievements were organized. Spanning a month, the event includes lectures and training sessions aimed at promoting an inclusive digital environment and encouraging public involvement in developing a digital Guangxi.
