A youth media sharing session, which kicked off in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, marked the close of the 2025 ASEAN-China Youth Hosts Camp, highlighting the deepening digital cooperation and cultural exchange.

The event, an important part of ASEAN-China Media Week, gathered over 200 participants including youth hosts, scholars, students, and media professionals from across China and ASEAN countries, according to the organizing committee.

Now in its fifth season, the Youth Hosts Camp has grown into a regional platform for cultural exchange and digital storytelling. Participants from Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, the Philippines, and China shared their experiences exploring China through short videos, livestreams, and social media posts.

Sok Pichratana, a representative from Cambodia, recalled visiting Tencent's headquarters. He praised the convenience of Tencent's digital tools and shared that he and his teammate produced a video about their study tour on their first day in Shenzhen, which has since aired on Cambodian national television and digital platforms.

Organizers said the camp is designed to strengthen media innovation and foster international communication skills among youth. Each season features different travel routes, showcasing China's development and culture through the eyes of young ASEAN and Chinese media talents.
