The movie Light Chaser wrapped up filming in Dongli Ancient Village, Daxu town, Lingchuan county, Guilin, on Jan 13.
The movie tells the touching story of Red Army soldiers scattered throughout the northern Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region after the Battle of the Xiangjiang River. Thanks to help from selfless local residents, these soldiers remained true to their original aspirations, courageously fought on, and persisted in their revolutionary endeavors.
After over a year of preparation, the movie was shot in various locations throughout Guilin, including Lingchuan, Quanzhou, and Longsheng counties.
The movie follows a young Red Army soldier, highlighting his commitment to his mission even as he is faced with the harsh realities of war and the difficulties of the revolution.
