The 24th Fishing Fire Festival on the Lijiang River kicked off in Yangshuo county, Guilin, Guangxi on Dec 27.
During the opening ceremony, outstanding contributors to Yangshuo's agricultural, cultural, and tourism industries were honored, further igniting the local community's passion and confidence in the region's development.
The festival also featured two trade fairs and signing ceremonies for various local projects. Exciting activities and special discounts offered by over 30 hotels and 10 scenic spots provided visitors with a diverse and enriching experience.
This year's event is expected to continue to entice visitors to come and experience the beauty of local landscapes, culture, and cuisine, making it the most iconic traditional festival in Yangshuo. It will showcase the region's local culture and integrate domestic and international intangible cultural resources.
