"The opening ceremony will center around the theme 'Looking Back and Moving Forward,' featuring three characters: the reminiscer, the guardian, and the visionary," said Guo Shuang, director of the opening ceremony and Ouyang Yuqian Awards ceremony of 2024 Guilin Festival.
She aims to blend the rich history and culture of the Guangxi Provincial Art Museum with a sense of artistry and grandiosity.
As preparations progress, Guo emphasizes the importance of presenting high-quality artistic works. She envisions the festival as not only a gathering of artists but also a cultural exchange platform, attracting international attention and fostering growth for young talents in the arts.
