As the most convenient land port for ASEAN countries, Youyiguan Border Gate is the preferred channel for fruits from the regional bloc to enter the country. Half of the fruits produced in ASEAN and imported into China each year enter through this port.
In order to facilitate faster port clearance, the Smart Logistics Control Platform was launched and put into operation on May 31, 2021.
The platform has a warning mechanism, which reports border gate data every day. With the support of Beidou positioning and video monitoring, the platform is able to achieve precise control over the 13 steps of cross-border vehicle clearance at ports.
The platform can simulate the real-time status of vehicles and automatically raise an alarm for abnormal situations, such as excessively long stays.
Once the platform launches online, vehicles that are importing freight will be able to enjoy self-services in terms of queuing and clearance, thereby saving time.

In the first half of this year, the number of vehicles entering and exiting Youyiguan Border Gate reached 196,000, an increase of 1.8 times from the previous year. The border gate has also now achieved 24-hour clearance operations for durian imports. Out of the 10 different kinds of durians brought into China, seven are imported through this gate.
