The natural gas high-pressure pipeline installed by Qinzhou Shengli Natural Gas Utilization will optimize the energy structure of the Qinzhou Port area in the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ).
It's expected to help enterprises reduce costs, improve the business environment and meet the gas demand for industry, commerce, services and residents. In addition, the company will manage other project operations to ensure gas safety.
The company is also investing 110 million yuan ($15 million) in building the Qinzhou Port Station-Qinzhou East Port Station high-pressure pipeline. It will have a daily design gas supply capacity of up to 1.44 million cubic meters and an annual capacity of over 500 million cu m.
The project started construction on April 25 in 2022. It's projected to meet the natural gas demands of the enterprises in the Qinzhou Port area of the Guangxi FTZ for at least the next decade. This is forecast to help reduce the gas costs of many businesses and increase their output value and market competitiveness.
