Qinzhou adds autonomous-region-level ecological environment science base
The Jingujiang Marine Ecological Environment Science Museum in the Qinzhou area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) was recently selected as part of the third batch of autonomous-region-level ecological environment science bases.
The design of this science museum integrates elements from the "Belt and Road" and has public service functions. It is committed to building a comprehensive urban public service space for ASEAN. It will also feature the functions of planning and exhibition, academic exchanges, conferences and exhibitions, popular science education, and sightseeing.
The museum has also set up a volunteer service team to carry out a series of public courses on marine ecology, mangrove environmental protection, and tree planting activities.
