The Nanning area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) held an activity on June 9 to provide services for digital economy enterprises and Nanning Normal University (NNU), thus promoting cooperation between all parties.

At the event, the Digital Economy Industry Promotion Association of the Nanning area of the Guangxi FTZ and NNU signed a cooperation agreement to jointly construct an employment internship base. The two sides will focus on a few of Nanning Normal University's majors to initially develop an employment internship and employment development platform for college students. They include geography; land, surveying and mapping; electronics; communication; and computer science majors.

Guangxi Smart Eagle Robot Group also signed an agreement for industry-university research cooperation with the Beibu Gulf Artificial Intelligence Applied Technology Research Institute of NNU at the event.

During the event, the heads of several colleges in NNU introduced their advantages, such as graduate joint training programs, scientific research project cooperation experience, and school-enterprise cooperation experience. Staff workers of the Nanning human resources and social security bureau and the Liangqing district human resources and social security bureau introduced relevant policies relating to college student employment. Staff workers of the Nanning science and technology bureau introduced relevant science and technology policies.

"NNU and enterprises will cooperate in personnel training, project cooperation and scientific research. They will also strengthen school-enterprise cooperation, promote talent training, and provide talent support for the development of the digital economy in the Nanning area of the Guangxi FTZ," said Li Chuanqi, the president of NNU.
