After continuous improvements, Youyiguan Port has recently shortened its customs clearance time.

Youyiguan Port provides a "7×24" hour reservation customs clearance mode, which shortens the overall clearance time of goods by more than two days. It also implements rapid laboratory testing measures, controls the fruit processing time at the port to within 24 hours, and has achieved a same day declaration and release system.

Since the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) came into effect, Youyiguan Port has implemented an online declaration system for goods and a quick clearance system for entry and exit vehicles. Under the previous model, it took an average time of one minute per vehicle during manual inspection. Under the new model, the inspection time per vehicle has been reduced to less than 15 seconds.

April is the peak season for durian imports at Youyiguan Port. In order to ensure the safe and fast clearance of imported durians, Youyiguan Port Customs has also built a special channel specifically for this fruit.

"Now the demand for fruit exceeds supply, and customs clearance at Youyiguan Port is obviously much faster, with more than 200 containers of imported goods arriving every day," said a fruit supplier.
