This batch of fresh Cambodian mangoes is scheduled to be sold in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, and Guangzhou, Guangdong province.

According to the import needs of enterprises, Youyigaun Customs will guide enterprises to apply for relevant licenses and declare goods in advance. Customs will also monitor the transportation status of the imported mangoes to their destinations in real-time to ensure that they can be cleared quickly after entering China.

"ASEAN fruit is more flexible and cheaper to transport by land than by sea or air," said a manager of a logistics company in Guangxi. Their goods enter the distribution yard in Pingxiang after a quick customs clearance process at Youyiguan Port, and the goods can be quickly distributed throughout the country, ensuring that the fruit is still fresh when delivered to consumers.

In the first four months of this year, 172,000 tons of ASEAN fruits were imported through Youyiguan Port, amounting to 4.99 billion yuan ($706 million), and 89.1 percent of all ports in Guangxi.
