According to the Ministry of Transport, Qinzhou Port saw a container throughput of 5.4 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in 2022.

In 2022, the Beibu Gulf Port handled 7.03 million TEUs of containers, up 16.78 percent year on year. Its cargo throughput reached 371.34 million metric tons, up 3.7 percent year-on-year.

Last year, Qinzhou Port opened 11 new domestic and foreign trade routes, including 10 foreign trade routes and eight RCEP routes.
