Kuantan Port in Malaysia has just opened a new service named CBX2.

The weekly service connects Qingdao, Shanghai and Ningbo directly with Kuantan, Klang, Penang, Malaysia, and reaches Chittagong, Bangladesh, further expanding the route network between the East China region and Kuantan port and also satisfying the transportation time expectations of customers shipping goods from Kuantan to destination ports in Korea and Japan.

With the rapid development of a metallurgical industry cluster in the Kuantan, this route will connect Bohai Bay and the Kuantan metallurgical industry chain more closely, enhance the service level of end customers in the Kuantan, and promote the development of industrial upgrading.

The New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor formed by the Kuantan-Qinzhou route can ensure faster delivery and more stable space guarantees of petrochemical intermediate products from the Kuantan region to central and western customers while improving the quality of trade services and reducing financial costs.
