The third group of 20 system innovation achievements of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) was recently promoted in Guangxi.

Up to now, the Guangxi FTZ has formed 104 autonomous regional-level system innovations and replicated and promoted them in Guangxi. Thirty-nine are the first of their kind in the country.

Since the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) came into effect, the Nanning area of the Guangxi FTZ has issued 550 RCEP certificates of origin with a total value of 330 million yuan ($47 million), as well as five pilot policies such as cross-border RMB interbank financing with activity amounting to 8.76 billion yuan.

The Qinzhou Port area of the Guangxi FTZ is based on services promoting port trade facilitation, industrial quality development, and vigorous innovative reforms. At present, the sea-rail transport trains running through the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor have reached 113 stations in 60 cities of 17 provinces and regions in China. The financial innovation pilot business volume of the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park has exceeded 19 billion yuan.

From January to October, 144,200 trucks entered and left the Youyiguan port, with an import and export cargo volume of 2,371,800 metric tons and an import and export value of 137.19 billion yuan. Cross-border train transits between China and Vietnam numbered 238, an increase of 178.3 percent year-on-year.
