The cargo throughput of Qinzhou terminal at Beibu Gulf Port has reached 100 million metric tons for three consecutive years.

In 2022, Qinzhou terminal completed the world's first "U" type facility, China's first sea-rail automated container terminal, adding two 100,000-ton fully automated container berths, and increasing the annual container throughput capacity by 1.02 million Twenty-foot Equivalent Units (TEUs).

In addition, the first phase of berth 1#-3# in the Dalanping operation area passed the handover acceptance, and two 100,000-ton berths in the Dalanping south operation area and one 50,000-ton general berth, 3# in Dalanping north were opened for acceptance, creating an additional annual throughput capacity of 5.92 million tons.

The digitalization level of Qinzhou terminal is also steadily improving. The visualization app for inspection, smart bay chokepoints and intelligent cargo management are accelerated into the production and operation activities of the terminal, changing the traditional mode of terminal production management and promoting double improvement of product quality and efficiency as well as customer experience.

In 2022, Qinzhou terminal added eight new container-vessel routes, including seven foreign trade routes. The existing 67 routes of Qinzhou terminal have woven a network from Beibu Gulf Port to RCEP member countries, expanded linkage with the world's major ports, and provided more import and export paths for foreign trade goods.
