Phase II of the Huayi Qinzhou New Chemical Materials Integrative Base has begun operation on Nov 30.

The Huayi Qinzhou New Chemical Materials Integrative Base is the largest industrial project in Guangxi. Their propylene and downstream deep processing integration and chlor-alkali project started in November 2019 and was completed in November 2022. It is now ready to move from Phase I, the construction phase, to Phase II, the production phase. It has a total investment of 90 billion yuan ($13 billion) and a design output value of over 100 billion yuan, and covers four major industrial chains.

China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) will ensure the steady and high production of Phase I and Phase II projects of the Huayi Qinzhou Base and make positive contributions to the economic development of Qinzhou. Guangxi will speed up the preliminary work of the third phase of the project and strive to start construction in the first quarter of next year to accelerate the construction of a world-class integrated base of new chemical materials.
