As of Nov 20, the supply of bonded fuel at Qinzhou Port has reached 42,731 metric tons so far this year, an increase of 102 percent year-on-year.

Bonded fuel has the advantage of receiving temporary exemptions from customs duty, value-added tax, and consumption tax, which helps to reduce the cost of navigation of international vessels and increase the attractiveness of ports to international vessels.

Bonded bunker supply service is an important part of international maritime services, an important indicator of the internationalization level of a port and the level of their supporting services. It is of great significance in promoting the gathering of maritime resources, extending the oil industry chain and enhancing the comprehensive competitiveness of the port.

With the rise of bonded fuel oil filling, as well as oil storage and transportation at Qinzhou Port, the safety risk of oil spillage has been increasing. To ensure the safe and orderly development of the supply of bonded fuel for ships, the Qinzhou maritime bureau has strengthened the safety management of bonded fuel companies and operating ships.

The Qinzhou maritime bureau has implemented maritime governmental services to provide convenient services for the declaration of bonded fuel ship load danger and ship supply and receiving fuel operation reports, helping Qinzhou Port build the Beibu Gulf bonded fuel supply center.
