As an important hub of digital economy development, the Nanning area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) has attracted more than 4,000 digital economy enterprises to date.

Last year, the electronic information manufacturing industry in the Nanning area of the Guangxi FTZ developed rapidly. The total industrial output value of the electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size reached 21.76 billion yuan ($3.22 billion), a year-on-year increase of 23.4 percent, accounting for 71.8 percent of the total industrial output value above the designated size in the area, three times that of 2018.

Nanning vigorously promotes the "internet + government service" model, with more than 95 percent of government affairs related to enterprises able to be handled online

"Under the guidance and support of the government, we settled in the Nanning area of the Guangxi FTZ in 2021, and completed cross-border exports of more than 400 million yuan that year, an increase of 200 percent over the previous year. As a result, our team size has also doubled," said Chen Kang, general manager of Nanning Baibaohui Warehousing Service.
