Qinzhou Port area of Guangxi FTZ's GDP reaches 21.9b yuan in H1
The GDP of the Qinzhou Port area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) in the first half of this year reached 21.9 billion yuan ($3.25 billion).
Qinzhou Port has the conditions for one-way navigation of 200,000-metric-ton container ships and 300,000-ton tankers. As of July 20, the Qinzhou 300,000-ton oil terminal has been berthed 20 times, with a total unloading volume of 3.77 million tons.
As of the end of June, 32,284 new enterprise registrations have been registered in the Qinzhou Port area of the Guangxi FTZ, 30 times the number before its establishment.
From April 1 to June 25, the tax department in the Qinzhou Port area of the Guangxi FTZ has handled 2.24 billion yuan in value-added tax refunds, accounting for 55.7 percent of the newly added tax and fee reductions since the Qinzhou Port area of the Guangxi FTZ was established, revitalizing the capital chain of enterprises.
