On July 11, 132 vehicles, covering nine types of construction machinery like loaders, road rollers, and excavators produced by Guangxi Liugong, were exported from Qinzhou Port to two Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) member countries, Australia and Indonesia.

This marked the first time that Guangxi Liugong has chosen Qinzhou Port as the export port of construction machinery vehicles, shortening the road transportation mileage by nearly 400 kilometers compared with its previous export port in Guangdong, reducing logistics costs.

In recent years, Guangxi Liugong has produced many local brand excavators and loaders, relying on its independent research and development, as well as its innovation. The export of these vehicles fills the gap in the export of large quantities of construction machinery through bulk cargo ships in the Qinzhou Port area of the China (Guanxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ).

In order to ensure the smooth loading and export of this batch of construction machinery, Qinzhou Wharf took the initiative to connect and coordinate with all parties involved to ensure the safe collection and boarding of the machinery.

Relying on its geographical advantages, the Qinzhou Port area of Guangxi FTZ has attracted more Guangxi enterprises by continuously improving its infrastructure and business environment.

Qinzhou Port completed a port cargo throughput of 53.77 million tons in the first half of this year, a year-on-year increase of 1.2 percent, while its container throughput was 2.4 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 20.34 percent.
