The Chongzuo area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) has continued to optimize its business environment. In the first half of the year, it provided 90 million yuan ($13 million) in tax rebates to eight headquarters economic enterprises.

In the past three years since its establishment, the Chongzuo area of the Guangxi FTZ has provided agency services for 176 enterprises, completed 196 approval items, and achieved a project completion rate of 98 percent.

To date, eight banks in the Chongzuo area of the Guangxi FTZ have signed border trade settlement agreements with branches of 16 banks in Lang Son province, Vietnam. The processing time for cross-border remittance business has been shortened from the previous 30 minutes to 10 minutes, while the entire business process is accessible online.

In the second half of the year, the Chongzuo area will continue to optimize its business environment, improve the policies that benefit enterprises, strengthen window construction and agency services, as well as strengthen the organic integration of online and offline services.
