On May 24, the management committee of the Qinzhou Port area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) signed an insurance cooperation agreement with the Guangxi branch of Property and Casualty Company Limited (PICC).

The Guangxi branch of PICC will boost insurance innovation in the fields of port and shipping logistics, international trade, green petrochemicals, new energy and new materials, as well as equipment manufacturing in the Qinzhou Port area of the Guangxi FTZ. It is also committed to providing a strong anti-risk guarantee for the high-quality development of the Qinzhou Port area.

The region's first technology insurance franchise in the Qinzhou Port area will be set up, strengthening entity docking and accurate support, as well as deeply integrating insurance into the economic construction process.

The Guangxi branch of PICC plans to highlight the upgrading and transformation of industrial insurance to the industrial chain, as well as build a product supply system for the whole industrial chain covering enterprise R&D, production, operation, sales, trade, financing, and credit. It will also launch exclusive products like specialized and special new enterprise insurance, as well as technology talent insurance for the Qinzhou Port area, providing thoughtful services for the development and growth of enterprises.
