Qinzhou's 1st approved exporter under RCEP confirmed
Guangxi Jingui Pulp & Paper was confirmed as the first approved exporter under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) in Qinzhou on April 22.
An approved exporter is an enterprise that has special privileges under the RCEP, the world's largest free trade agreement. It does not have to apply for a certificate of origin to customs when exporting its goods as it is able to independently issue a declaration of origin and enjoy preferential tariffs abroad. In addition, it can issue a declaration of origin under the China-Switzerland, China-Iceland, and China-Mauritius free trade agreements.
In the first quarter of this year, Qinzhou customs issued a total of 696 certificates of origin, a year-on-year increase of 2.18 times, and the visa amount was $76.43 million, a year-on-year increase of 7.94 times.
