Nanning customs issues measures for Guangxi's development

On April 26, Nanning customs issued 28 measures to support the high-level opening up and high-quality development of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

Nanning customs will strengthen contact and cooperation with government departments, optimize the problem-solving mechanisms of enterprises, as well as strengthen monitoring and analysis of import and export trade. It will release the China-ASEAN trade index during the China-ASEAN Expo, as well as make a good interpretation of the index.

Nanning will support the improvement in Beibu Gulf port throughput capacity and land port access. It will also assist enterprises in making use of RCEP policy benefits, as well as in responding to technology and trade measures. It will increase the cultivation of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) enterprises, as well as improve its inspection and testing technical support capabilities.

The city will develop the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ), Nanning Airport Economic Demonstration Zone, and Fangchenggang International Medical Opening-up Pilot Zone at a high level. It will also build Guilin into a world-class tourist city.

Nanning will also support the expansion of bulk commodity imports, promote the development of the bonded oil supply industry, expand the border market, as well as transform and upgrade processing trade. It will facilitate the customs clearance of agricultural and food products supplied to Hong Kong and Macao, facilitate the customs clearance of medicine and food products of the same origin, as well as promote the development of cross-border e-commerce. It will continue to implement strong epidemic prevention and control measures at ports, implement safe production measures, as well as strengthen port monitoring and crackdown on smuggling.
