In order to continuously improve its port's COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control capabilities, Pingxiang has launched five innovative measures to ensure that its port continues to operate smoothly.

The measures include implementing the swap trailer transport mode for cross-border vehicles, opening up green channels for fresh and live products, innovating the driving sharing mechanism, guiding the orderly diversion of outbound vehicles, as well as ensuring the smooth passage of foreign trade goods vehicles.

Starting from March 8, the Youyiguan border gate began to implement the swap trailer transport mode, with the average daily customs clearance volume increasing to 80 to 100 vehicles.

As of March 15, 159 foreign trade cargo transport vehicles have been approved for entering and leaving Pingxiang. The transported goods are mainly dragon fruit, jackfruit, watermelon, mango, and other agricultural products imported from Southeast Asia. Since the implementation of the policy, it has brought nearly 20 million yuan ($3.14 million) of economic benefits to enterprises.
