The Qinzhou Port area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) held an enterprise matchmaking meeting on March 2 to coordinate and solve issues that medical device enterprises face regarding administrative approval.

The meeting invited 10 medical device companies in the Qinzhou Port area of the Guangxi FTZ. Relevant experts listened to the questions raised by the companies' representatives, reviewed the companies' application materials on-site, as well as analyzed the product technical parameters, production processes, and the problems encountered by the companies in product inspection, registration materials, and production licenses.

The Food and Drug Administration of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will also set up a special group to serve the Qinzhou Port area of the Guangxi FTZ to provide it with a full range of services. The Qinzhou Port area of the Guangxi FTZ has undertaken 27 administrative powers in the field of drug supervision, including 16 at the autonomous region level and 11 at the municipal level. All of the administrative matters can be handled online, with the area now home to more than 120 drug and medical device production and operation enterprises.
