Qinzhou signed a cooperation agreement with Guangxi Beibu Gulf Investment Group on Feb 14. Lin Guan, Party chief of Qinzhou, and Zhu Jianhe, Party chief and chairman of the board of the Guangxi Beibu Gulf Investment Group, delivered speeches at the signing ceremony.

Qinzhou and Guangxi Beibu Gulf Investment Group will cooperate in infrastructure construction, trade and logistics, water and environmental protection, as well as rural revitalization, with the goal of expanding and strengthening the seaward economy.

Lin extended a warm congratulation to Guangxi Beibu Gulf Investment Group on its 15th anniversary. He said that the group supported the opening of the Beibu Gulf, while exemplifying the major role that State-owned enterprises can play. He expressed hope that Qinzhou and the company will seize new opportunities to develop the seaward economy, such as the construction of international gateway ports on the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor and the Pinglu canal and the opening up of Beibu Gulf.

Zhu said that Guangxi Beibu Gulf Investment Group would accelerate the implementation of cooperation projects and contribute to the high-quality development of Qinzhou as part of this cooperation agreement.

After the signing ceremony, the two sides also held discussions on promoting the implementation of the cooperation agreement.
