Jushen commodity logistics warehousing center project signed

The management committee of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone and Guangdong Jushen Logistics signed the agreement for the Jushen commodity logistics warehousing center project on Jan 13.

This storage center is located south of Bonded Port Street, with an investment of 270 million yuan ($42.57 million) and a land area of 200 mu (13.33 hectares). It is expected that it will take 36 months to build it. Upon completion, it will include indoor warehouses, open-air storage areas, office buildings, as well as supporting facilities for warehousing and logistics.

Once operational, it is expected to bring a cargo throughput of 6.5 million metric tons and 2.78 million tons in logistics freight business volume to Qinzhou Port area per year. It will become the designated delivery warehouse of the Shanghai Futures Exchange, a well-known domestic commodity trading platform, as well as an important logistics base and trading center for the non-ferrous metal industry chain.

Guangdong Jushen Logistics is a non-ferrous metal logistics enterprise that is headquartered in Nanhai district, Foshan. The company has established nine wholly-owned subsidiaries in the main production areas, consumption areas or important distribution centers of domestic non-ferrous metals, such as Guangdong, Xinjiang, Jiangsu, and Guangxi. It has developed into a diversified comprehensive logistics service provider integrating logistics scheme design, transportation, and warehousing.
