Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has geared up to participate in the upcoming fourth China International Import Expo (CIIE), which will take place in Shanghai from Nov 5 to 10.

First held in 2018, the CIIE is the world's first dedicated import exhibition, and its three previous editions have seen fruitful outcomes.

As of now, a total of 1,386 companies in Guangxi have registered online to participate in this year's CIIE and 2,581 attendees from the region will participate in the event.

Activities showcasing the comprehensive images of Guangxi will be held such as China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone's latest development achievements, distinctive cultural tourism resources and outstanding Guangxi products.

A promotion fair for the China (Guangxi) Pilot FTZ will be held on Nov 5 in Shanghai to promote the current development situation, trends, preferential policies and local business environment, aiming to lay a solid foundation to lure more projects in the future.

Guangxi will devote efforts to carry out matchmaking events for major purchasing companies and exhibitors, striving to expand its purchase transaction scale.
