Guangxi has seven airports in the cities of Nanning, Guilin, Beihai, Liuzhou, Wuzhou, Baise, and Hechi. The seven airports are: Guilin Liangjiang International Airport, Nanning Wuxu International Airport, Wuzhou Changzhoudao Airport, Liuzhou Bailian Airport, Baise Tianyang Airport (Bama Airport), Beihai Fucheng Airport, and Hechi Jinchengjiang Airport.

In 2018, the passenger throughput of civil aviation in Guangxi reached 27.66 million, up 11.6 percent year-on-year, while the cargo and mail throughput was 157,000 tons, up 7.8 percent year-on-year. Among them, the passenger throughput of Nanning Airport in 2018 was 15.09 million, up 8.5 percent year-on-year, while the cargo and mail throughput was 118,000 tons, up 6.9 percent year-on-year.

In 2018, Guilin Airport's passenger throughput was 8.73 million, a year-on-year increase of 11.1 percent; Beihai Airport's passenger throughput was 2.28 million, a year-on-year increase of 33.4 percent; Liuzhou Airport's passenger throughput was 1.345 million, an increase of 18.6 percent; Baise Airport's passenger throughput was 180,801, an increase of 64.5 percent year-on-year; and the passenger throughput of Hechi Airport in 2018 was 22,446, a year-on-year increase of 59.4 percent.

People can reach 26 cities in 12 countries from airports in Guangxi. Among them, routes between Guangxi and ASEAN countries have become the main channel for China-ASEAN political, economic, trade, and cultural exchanges. In 2018, the passenger throughput of the ASEAN routes reached 1.1 million.

In 2018, Guangxi's railway operation mileage reached 5,202 kilometers, of which the high-speed rail train mileage reached 1,771 kilometers, ranking first in the country.

The Guizhou–Guangxi Railway: from Liuzhou, Guangxi to Guiyang, Guizhou.

The Hunan–Guangxi Railway: from Hengyang, Hunan to Guangxi's three principal cities, Nanning, Liuzhou, and Guilin. Most other railways in Guangxi are connected to the Xianggui Line.

The Nanning–Kunming Railway: heads west from Nanning to Kunming, Yunnan.

The Jiaozuo-Liuzhou Railway: from Jiaozuo, Henan to Liuzhou, Guangxi.

The Litang-Zhanjiang Railway: from Litang, Guangxi to Zhanjiang, Guangdong.

The Luoyang-Zhanjiang Railway: from Luoyang, Henan to Zhanjiang, Guangdong.

In 2018, the total length of highways in Guangxi reached 125,400 kilometers. Among them, the mileage of expressways was 5,563 kilometers, the mileage of national and provincial highways was about 20,000 kilometers, and the mileage of rural roads exceeded 100,000 kilometers. All of the villages in the region with capable conditions have built hardened roads. Road freight volume exceeded 1.5 billion tons and waterway freight volume exceeded 300 million tons in 2018.
