Guilin Esquel Textile, a subsidiary of Esquel Group, has secured national recognition for its sustainable development garden, Integral (known as "Shi-Ru" in Chinese).
The China Energy Conservation Association recently certified Integral as a "Zero-Carbon Park", making it one of the first four such parks in the country and the only one in Guangxi.
A leading textile enterprise, Guilin Esquel has achieved a dynamic carbon balance through energy-saving technologies, including distributed photovoltaic systems for clean power and waste heat recovery for efficient energy use.
Its smart energy management system enables real-time monitoring of energy consumption, while employee initiatives like recycling, water reuse, and electric vehicle promotion foster low-carbon lifestyles.
The certification follows a rigorous evaluation covering compliance, energy structure, and management systems. The park has set a benchmark for green park development nationwide.
Guilin's green manufacturing sector continues to grow, with one national green park and 16 national green factories. Guilin Juntaifu Electric has also earned "Zero-Carbon Factory" status, cementing the city's leading position in Guangxi's sustainable industrial development.
