As summer begins, Feishuiyan Waterfall near Guanyinping village in Lingchuan county, Guilin, enters its prime season. The cascading waters, now at their fullest, create a spectacular natural retreat from city life, drawing visitors seeking cool respite.

Tucked deep in the mountains at the end of a shaded forest trail, the waterfall plunges down the cliffs, sending up silvery mist that transforms into a radiant ribbon of light under the sun.

Visitors gather to snap photos of the falls or set up camp along the shore, soaking in the serene landscape. Children splash in the shallows while adults relax under the trees, creating a picture of tranquil harmony.

The waterfall is a 1.5-hour drive from downtown Guilin, and the final stretch to the waterfall is a 20 to 25-minute hike through a lush valley trail alive with birdsong and mountain springs. Sheltered by dense foliage, the path stays refreshingly cool even on hot days, making it ideal for a summer stroll.
