On Oct 27, a healing music concert premiered at Swan Lake of Guilin as part of the 2024 Guilin Festival. Despite overcast skies and a brisk wind, attendees found solace in the natural surroundings as they connected with the sounds of local plants, such as osmanthus.
This innovative concert combined nature, technology, and music, allowing participants to experience the healing effects of nature through a unique audio-visual presentation.
Special equipment was used to capture the electromagnetic signals of Guilin's flora, which inspired the creation of an album. This collection also features five tracks co-created with AI technology, blending natural sounds with healing music to enhance the therapeutic experience.
The concert featured the 'Earthereal' Orchestra, which harmonized Western and traditional Chinese instruments to create an immersive environment for relaxation and rejuvenation. The importance of bringing music therapy into nature was highlighted during the concert, aiming to expand artistic expressions of Guilin's scenic beauty and encourage audiences to find inner peace amidst urban chaos.
