The 2023 Guangxi catering culture exposition and world food capital urban forum will be held in Guilin from Nov 17 to 19. The aim of the expo is to promote the integrated development of catering with culture, tourism, and industry.
The expo will be a combination of online and onsite activities, with four main exhibition areas: Guangxi's image display area, a brand display area, an entertainment experience area, and a food culture entertainment street. More than 1,000 companies are expected to participate in the exhibition and conference.
The event will host an online food festival, providing an all-day online food experience through special exhibition halls, live food broadcasts, ingredient photography exhibitions, and more. Supporting activities include cultural tasting, forum promotion, food competitions, design contests, and more.
The event will launch the Guangxi specialty food innovation competition and the Guangxi prefabricated food design competition and create a digital marketing platform for the catering food industry in Guangxi to promote the introduction and signing of branded catering chains and franchise enterprises.
The expo will also hold the inaugural world food capital urban forum and the catering and tourism integration development forum, inviting representatives from renowned cities to share their experiences and jointly discuss development matters.
The event will promote the international development of Guangxi's catering industry and the deep integration of catering and tourism, contributing to Guilin's bid to become a world food capital and world-class tourist city.
