A launch ceremony for an international media tour of revolutionary sites in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region was held in Nanning, the region's capital, on Oct 25.

A team of 10 foreign journalists, scholars, and international students from countries of Greece, South Korea, Germany, Ukraine, Iran, Bangladesh and Vietnam will join in the trip and visit the cities of Guilin and Wuzhou, which are well-known for their profound history, splendid culture and enchanting scenery.

The six-day tour aims to help the visiting group learn more about Guangxi's achievements in high-quality economic growth, rural revitalization and ecological protection.

Various sites such as the Lijiang River and the Guangdong-Guangxi Cooperation Special Zone are on the itinerary.
