Hechi art exhibition showcases 130 well-received works
The Calligraphy, Painting, and Photography Exhibition has quickly become a cultural hotspot attracting both locals and tourists since its opening on Nov 12 at Hechi's sports center.
As an important part of this year's Bronze Drum Folk Song Art Festival, the exhibition features 130 selected works across various forms including calligraphy, painting, and photography, using brushstrokes and lenses to vividly capture Hechi's natural beauty and dynamic development.

After multiple rounds of rigorous selection by an expert review committee, 130 outstanding works were chosen for display, including six first prize, nine second prize, 15 third prize, and 30 honorable mention winners. The works cover a wide range of themes, from lyrical depictions of landscapes to realistic records of urban and rural changes and daily life.
Among them, the printmaking piece titled Builders of the New Era, which received an honorable mention, drew significant attention from visitors. Its creator, Qin Yaokang, shared that his inspiration came from the construction of the Hechi West Station, and that the work is a tribute to the dedicated urban builders through the language of printmaking.
