Hechi hosts 2025 Guangxi Youth Jump Rope Open

The 2025 Guangxi Youth Jump Rope Open began at Hechi Gymnasium on Nov 1 to 2.

The competition featured a total of four major categories and 25 minor events, including speed, freestyle, pre-set routines, and domestic exhibition event, covering six age groups ranging from young children to youth.

Eight hundred and forty-eight young athletes from 72 representative teams across 9 cities, including Nanning, Liuzhou, Hechi, Qinzhou, Yulin, and Fangchenggang, competed. Hechi fielded 22 teams with 366 participants from universities, primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, and local clubs.

The competition featured a special championship showdown, where the top eight athletes and teams from events including the 30-second single rope speed step, the 2×30-second double under relay, and the 3-minute 10-person long rope figure-8 faced off once more.

This is the sixth edition of the Guangxi Youth Jump Rope Open and the first time it has been hosted in Hechi.

This not only serves as a recognition of Hechi's active efforts to promote youth rope skipping in recent years but also provides a high-level platform for local young people to exchange skills and grow alongside their peers from across the region.
