Hechi's Huanjiang pomelos hit the market

Honey pomelos from Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county recently hit the market, featuring two main varieties – red flesh pomelo and triple red pomelo.

It is reported that the newly available red flesh pomelo from Huanjiang boasts bright red flesh with a fine, non-fibrous texture, while the triple red pomelo is characterized by its red skin, red rind, and red flesh, delivering a juicy burst with every bite. Both varieties are rich in vitamin C and dietary fiber, catering to the taste preferences of different consumers.

At Kaifeng market, many vendors have prominently displayed the red flesh and triple red pomelos, with piles of the golden, plump fruits stacked high. Vendor Mr. Mo, while weighing pomelos for a customer, shared, "This year, we grew over 3.3 acres of pomelos. After some were purchased by out-of-town merchants, we brought the remaining stock to our stall. Many returning customers specifically seek them out, saying the texture is better than that of regular pomelos."
