Hechi advances high-quality elderly care via 'medical-care plus' integration
Hechi is advancing the high-quality development of its elderly care sector by promoting the integration of "medical-care plus" with multiple business formats. This initiative aims to address the diverse needs of the elderly and create a new landscape for the city's elderly care services.

The "medical-care plus" model focuses on combining medical services with elderly care, ensuring the elderly have timely access to health monitoring, disease prevention, and medical treatment.
In addition to basic care, Hechi is integrating this model with other sectors – such as cultural and recreational activities, smart home services, and community support – to enrich the elderly's daily life.
To implement the strategy, Hechi is upgrading elderly care facilities, equipping them with basic medical equipment and training staff in both caregiving and basic medical skills. It is also partnering with local hospitals to establish a "green channel" for the elderly, enabling quick transfers and consultations.
Community-based elderly care centers are playing a key role too. They offer daily care, meal services, and health lectures, while leveraging digital tools to keep family members informed about the well-being of their loved ones.
This multi-format integration not only improves the quality of elderly care in Hechi but also sets a benchmark for balanced and inclusive elderly care development in similar regions.
