Honghuo Avenue opens to traffic in Huanjiang, enhancing connectivity
On Nov 27, the long-anticipated Honghuo Avenue in Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county opened to traffic. Local officials and residents gathered to celebrate this significant milestone, marked by vibrant festivities and fireworks.
During the ceremony, a procession of buses and taxis made their maiden journey on the new road, while enthusiastic onlookers captured the memorable moment. "The opening of Honghuo Avenue makes things much more convenient for us," said a local resident.
Construction worker Zhong Mingjia, who worked on the project, expressed pride in his team's efforts, hoping the road would bring prosperity to the people of Huanjiang.
Honghuo Avenue is a vital link between Huanjiang's urban area and its high-speed railway station. The project, part of the Huanjiang High-Speed Rail Supporting Facilities PPP initiative, includes multiple subprojects with a total investment of 903 million yuan ($125 million).
The new piece of infrastructure is a key step in improving the county's transportation network, paving the way for better connectivity and economic development. For the Maonan people, it symbolizes a path toward a brighter and more prosperous future.
