17th Guangxi 'Baqun Cup' Basketball Finals conclude with exciting matches

On the evening of Oct 30, the 17th Guangxi "Baqun Cup" Basketball Finals of 'Danquan' in 2024 came to a close in Nandan county in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, with Team Nandan winning the women's champion and Team Debao emerging victorious in the men's category.

The showdown between the Nandan women's team and the Wuming district women's team from Nanning kicked off at 7 pm. By the end of the first half, the score stood at 33-34, with Wuming holding a narrow one-point lead. In the second half, Nandan displayed remarkable resilience, utilizing strong inside plays and precise outside shooting to surpass its rival. It gradually widened the point gap and ultimately clinched victory with a commanding score of 72-60, securing the championship title.

Subsequently, the battle for the men's championship unfolded between Team Nandan and Team Debao, with intense competition characterizing the match. In the end, the formidable Debao emerged victorious with a score of 76-67, claiming the championship title, while Nandan settled for the runner-up position.

An award ceremony was held after the matches, bringing the six-day 17th Guangxi "Baqun Cup" Basketball Finals to an exciting close.
