Hechi hosts thrilling sports dance competitions

On Aug 4, the Guangxi Sports Dance Open Competition (Hechi) and the Hechi Sports Dance Championship concluded at the Tian'e Ethnic Cultural and Sports Center. A total of 67 representative teams from various regions of Guangxi, with over 1,300 participants, delivered an outstanding dance extravaganza.

Spanning two days, the competition featured four major categories: elite, ranking, creative, and collective groups, encompassing a diverse range of dance styles, including street dance, Latin dance, and Chinese dance. Participants showcased the essence of sports dance through music and movements. National-level judges were selected to officiate the event to ensure fairness and rigor.

Sports dance integrates sports, dance, and music into a high-quality fitness activity with a broad base of enthusiasts. It plays a positive role in correcting body posture, boosting confidence, and enhancing physical fitness, especially among young people.

Leveraging this event, Tian'e county is set to actively promote community fitness activities to cultivate and nurture more sports talents for Hechi.
