The 5th Yifan Festival was celebrated in Luocheng Mulam autonomous county on Nov 10. People from 12 ethnic groups in Luocheng, including Mulam, Zhuang, Han, Miao, Yao and Dong, as well as tourists from all over the country, gathered at Chenglong Lake Park to celebrate this traditional festival.

The Yifan Festival is a unique and culturally rich celebration for Mulam people. The celebrations are usually held every three years. In 2006, it was included in the first list of national intangible cultural heritage items.

This edition of the festival features a range of activities, including traditional blessing ceremonies, cultural performances, folk parades, a folk song party, and a half marathon race, which have taught many visitors about the customs of Luocheng and Mulam culture.
