Hechi signs 158 projects at 20th China-ASEAN Expo

The Hechi Investment Cooperation Promotion Conference and Signing Ceremony was held on Sept 18 in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, as part of the ongoing 20th China-ASEAN Expo and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit.
Qin Chuncheng, Party cheif of Hechi city, said that Hechi, which has entered the "high-speed rail era", is currently at a key stage of high-quality development. Qin hopes that entrepreneurs, investors, and business enthusiasts will visit and invest in Hechi.
Huang Xianchang, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hechi Municipal Committee and executive vice mayor of Hechi, made an investment promotion presentation.
He focused on promoting two multi-billion-yuan industries, namely the city's non-ferrous metals and silk industries. He also promoted its five hundred-billion-yuan industries, including food, home furnishings, building materials, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.
Huang went on to highlight Hechi's advantageous industries, such as its healthcare, tourism, new energy, digital and electronic information, life sciences, and biotechnology industries.
Furthermore, 11 counties and districts showcased their investment projects through video promotion, and enterprises like Guangxi Yusheng Germanium Industry and Guangxi Jialian Silk conducted project roadshows.
During this year's expo, Hechi signed a total of 158 investment cooperation projects related to various sectors, including new materials, new energy, healthcare, tourism, and modern services, with a total investment of 66.25 billion yuan ($9 billion), an increase of 24.67 percent when compared to the previous expo.
